#1 VanRicter Sep 11, 2014 14:28:49	The rules for wild shape state, "starting at 2nd level, you can use your action to magically assume the shape of a beast that you have seen before."   The rules for dispel magic state, "choose one creature, object or magical effect within range.  Any spell of 3rd level or lower on the target ends."   Thoughts?
#2 mattdm Sep 11, 2014 15:30:03	The "magical effect" wording is a little odd, but the rest of the description of dispel magic is all about and only about ending spells — which wild shape isn't.   When you target a creature or object, the result is clear — all low-level spells end immediately and higher-level spells require a check.   But what is this about "magical effect", then? Magical effects don't usually have spells on them, do they? No — but there are magical effects which result from spells, and these mention dispel magic in their rules, and if those are chosen as a target, whatever effect is given there happens.
