Concentration - Range?

Hi folks,

 

When you are concentrating to keep a spell effect, is there a range?

 

For example, the Web spell has a range of 60'. Do you have to stay within 60' of where the spell is in order to keep the effect up through concentration?

 

Or, as written, can you move however far away you want and keep up Concentration?

That is a great question. The RAW doesn't address it. As a GM I would rule you have to be in range or at least line of sight. You don't want to allow web and then traveling miles away.

From the Basic Rules:

Once a spell is cast, its effects aren’t limited by its
range, unless the spell’s description says otherwise.
