#1 abs1nth Sep 19, 2014 2:39:48	In the rules it says: "While crafting, you can maintain a modest lifestyle without having to pay 1 gp per day, or a comfortable lifestyle at half the normal cost."   Can someone explain to me why this makes any degree of sense? Maybe, MAYBE if you are renting a forge the guy might allow you to sleep inside his shop. But it gets even weirder when you consider this: "You can work between adventures,  allowing you to maintain a modest lifestyle without having to pay 1 gp per day"   So working for someone makes you as much money as crafting something for yourself??? Don't make no sense. Unless someone has a way of justifying this I think I'll just rule that crafting does NOT cover lodging.
#2 lawrencehoy Sep 19, 2014 3:24:25	I think it is assuming both are similar; that you are selling at least some of the results of what you are crafting.   EDIT: In essence, you are plying your trade and making a modest living at it.
