#1 AndrewJO Sep 01, 2014 12:44:33	What skill does bow making/fletching use? I would assume wood working, but smithing seems like it could affect it as well (arrow heads, metal reinforced limbs, etc). Also, are players able to craft weapons that have superior stats? If so, does it require anything other than a skill proficiency (better base components, other unlisted skills, magic, etc).
#2 Illithidbix Sep 01, 2014 13:29:18	Good question.. There isn't a definite answer for what items need what in the PHB. There might be in the DMG, but I think they'll just use it   From the list in the PHB, I'd also go for Woodcrafting tools as closest, best fit.  Or perhaps invent fletching tools if someone's interested in having it as their character.   There are currently no rules on superior items, they might be in the DMG, or more likely a future supplement.   The general impression I get though is that they're trying to make magic items as special as possible and masterwork items might devalue that. Or not depending on your opinion.
