Dark One's Blessing and Armor of Agathys

So Armor of Agathys give 5 temp HP per level of the spell slot and dishes out the same damage to anyone who hits in melee.  But a warlock with Dark One's Blessing (gives you temp HP when you defeat an enemy) gets renewed temp HP.  Does this "replenish" the allowing a warlock to get more mileage out of Armor of Agathys?  Or does this new pool of temp HP replace it in some way, cancelling the other benefits of armor of agathys?

No, because the THP is from the Blessing and NOT AoA. When you gain the THP from DoB you have to choose if you want that THP or the THP from AoA (and its effect).
