what does entering means?
we all agree that a character moving his 30ft as a move action is entering (or exiting) an area. but does a creature getting push 15ft back is entering or exiting an area? does a grabed creature getting draged is entering/exiting an areea?
For example you have character A, B and C fighting.
A and B are in melee. C come behind B, grab him and drag him 15 feet back (out of treathen zone from A) Does A get an Attack of Oppotunity on B?
If A push B outside it's treathen zone, does that provoke an AoO from A?
with spell like cloud of dagger, bade barrier, moonbeam? they say " when it enters the spell’s area for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there."
We all agree that if the creature walk in the area using it's move action the creature will take damage. If the creature get push, drag. thrown or teleported within the spell area, does he take damage? If the spell can move (like moonbeam) and the spell move over the creature, does the creature take damage from the spell enterring it's square? or only when the creature start it's turn? |

The former=The bugbear is entering the space (thus causing damage instantly) The latter=The DAGGERS entering the space (thus not causing damage...yet!) |
