| #1OckhamTheRazorAug 22, 2014 20:05:05 | I noticed a 5th spell in Paladin's spell list called Destructive Smite. However there doesn't seem to be such a spell in spell description. Instead, there is a spell named Destructive Wave, which is also 5th level. Is that a typo or something? Destructive Wave doesn't quite look like a Pally spell though... |

| #3Macv12Mar 10, 2015 23:38:09 | Don't know of any official word, but it seems generally understood that it's a mistake, and Destructive Smite is indeed meant to refer to Destructive Wave.
You could always make a Destructive Smite if you wanted. I think it might actually be referring to an axed "Disintegrating Smite" spell, which IIRC did a chunk of d10's and more ongoing d10's until the target made a save. |

I think its generally understood that it was an editing typo and should be Destructive Wave.

Its a superb, Paladin exclusive spell, which only the Tempest Cleric gets to also pick. |
