Cast Vamperic Touch as a lvl 3 spell, it does 3d6 damage for say average damage of 10. Half of which the caster heals, for 5. If the wizard level dips into cleric for Disciple of life... now vamp touch heals for 10 instead of 5. If vamp touch kills the target it heals for 19!
Lets say Vamp touch was cast at lvl 6 level spell slot... average is now 21. Half heals for 10...with Disciple of life heals for 18, if it kills the target it heals the caster for 36.
This combo seems pretty good on a tanky Wizard/Cleric Build.
The question is would Disciple of life trigger from Grim Harvest? Example is now use Inflict wounds instead of vamp touch. If it kills the target would it heal just from Grim Harvest or Grim Harvest and Disciple of life? |
