#3 Jay_Ibero_911 Nov 22, 2014 19:42:37	Cutting words penalizes the total, not the die itself. If a monster has +5 on attack rolls and rolls a 20, they got a crit with a 25 to hit. Cutting words could reduce the total but does not change the fact that it was still a 20, and therefore still a crit. Cutting words is actually useless against a natural 20 attack roll.
