| #2bonethug0108Dec 13, 2014 11:37:23 | Even assuming you take it to the extreme and short rest after every battle, you can still only wild shape twice a fight. Each time you wild shape you get the benefits of wild shaping(including the full number of HPs). So you are limited in how many "free" HPs you get(until you hit level 20). |

| #4EchamilDec 14, 2014 2:34:05 | The problem being that if you are a 2nd level Druid and you Wild shape into a Bear with Circle of the Moon, and lose 33 HP, when you change back into your normal form, you'd be in the negative points, so you would be making death saves. When you wild shape and take on the Hit Die of the creature, those are considered temporary hit points. |

If he took, say 40 hp damage, he would revert with (40-34) 6 less hp than he had before he shapechanged. Whether the druid becomes unconscious and needs to make death saves would depend on his pre-shapechange hit points. |
