| #1TashannocAug 25, 2014 7:58:04 | I've been scouring the forum for an answer to this question, but I can't find one. As written, polearm master seems to say that ANY enemy that enters your reach provokes an opportunity attack. It does not say that this opportunity attack uses your reaction. It seems that you could attack multiple enemies off of your turn if they tried to close with you.
This seems to be a case of specific beating general, but I'd like clarification.
I'm building a character to play at PAX this weekend so I'm hoping to get a definitive answer soon. |

Polearm Master doesn't specify any change to the rule that opportunity attack uses your reaction therefore the opportunity attack from Polearm Master uses your reaction. It follows all the rules for opportunity attacks such as if the enemy uses the disengage action, they can move next to you without you getting the opportunity attack. |
