| #2NovacatSep 22, 2014 2:16:34 | There's no "general rule" for dragon attacks, so it depends on the specific dragon. The adult red dragon in the DM Basic rules, for example, can use its action to Multiattack (which includes Frightful Presence and a number of melee attacks) OR to use Fire Breath. Some dragons could, concevably, have actions available to them that allows them to attack and use their breath weapon in the same action, or perhaps use their breath weapon as a bonus action.
Consult the monster's stat block to see what it can do. |
