Hi i was planning to start a Circle of the moon druid and i got really confused when i was looking at the CR 1 wild shapes i can turn into. Since circle of the moon at level 2 you can turn into animals with CR 1and i noticed that a giant eagle is CR 1 but in the Circle of the Moon class ability Circle Forms it says that i can ignore the max CR but i must abide by the limitations and in the limitations it says that i cant turn into a fly form until level 8 but the giant eagle is CR 1 so im confused can i turn into a giant eagle since its CR 1 or i can't turn into a giant eagle because the limitations or even weirder i can turn into a giant eagle and not fly which basically means i turn into a giant chicken. Please let me know because im caught in a crossroads of rules and abilities of Circle of the Moon Wild Shape
