| #2Gruff_IronfistAug 30, 2014 22:53:17 | Nope. You pick from that list. The warlock tables shows how many invocations you know at a time (at each level). You start with 2 known, and gain additional ones as you level. You can swap/replace as you level up too. Check out the Invocation description on the page following the table/level progression. |

| #6belowynSep 02, 2014 9:29:23 | Still waiting to start my first game, but if it is anything like earlier version, Misty Visions (Silent Image at will, without spending any spell slots, or components) should be a clear choice for most locks. |
| #7YunruSep 02, 2014 9:33:54 | You mean over +cha to Eldritch Blast, +push 10 to Eldritch Blast, ignoring darkness (both magical and otherwise), effectively Ritual Caster if you're Pact of Tome, etc? |

| #9melloredSep 02, 2014 11:37:06 | Agonizing blast is not a must at level 2.
But at higher levels, it's really hard to leave it on the table, unless your a blade lock. |
| #10NN1Sep 02, 2014 12:50:54 | I think we have established that you get a limited selection of invocations and a lot of them are very good. |
| #11IxidorRSSep 02, 2014 13:47:50 | It also looks like the wording requires you to take a warlock level to gain or change your invocation, so you can't automatically snag the level 15 required ones while multiclassing. |

| #13Knight_MarshalOct 10, 2014 21:18:44 | I don't see anything that says otherwise, but can't you get agonizing and repelling blasts and have them both work each time? |
