I have passed over a lot of the GW issues, so I wanted to check.

If a PC has GWF style, can he reroll all dice?  Sneak attack? Divine Smite? Flame tongue? Hunter's Mark? etc

Is there some debate on this?

All dice.

Personally I don't think that should be the case - how I swing my sword shouldn't really affect the explodiness of my magical explodies. But if you confine the effect to weapon dice only, IIRC it's pretty weak. It should be the best damage-helping option, because that's all two-handers are good for. But I don't know the exact math; the other damage-boosting styles are pretty pitiful, especially TWF, except for Archery which is amazing.

Unrelated point: how did you get Sneak Attack and GWF on the same attack?

Dont think there are any weapons that are both finesse/light, and heavy/2-handed.

But you could still have a half orc critting with hunters mark, valor bard die, an extra crit dice, a superiority dice, using paladin smite, with a poisoned weapon rolling all those dice twice, then rerolling all 1-2s.   But that would require a lot of multi-class stats and levels.

I've been looking into paladin2/rogue(assassin)3/warlockX. It would require GWF with a weapon that has both the Finesse property and was either two-handed or versatile.

Doing the research, Sun Blade and Moon Blade. How cute is that!

Anyway, attack a surprised opponent (auto-crit from assassin), Smite (paladin, maybe using Pact Magic slot), Sneak Attack (rogue ability, you have advantage on any attack before that creature's first turn), every single die is rolled twice, and any 1 or 2 is rerolled!

Since Sun Blades do radiant damage, you're not going to come up against anything that can Resist or is immune, unless you are fighting Angels. And why would you fight Angels?

First of all, when you say GWF rolls all the dice twice, are you talking about the 'Savage Attacker' feat? Because that's not what GWF does. GWF only rerolls 1s and 2s from the damage die of a melee attack.

I do agree that Savage Attacker could reroll all of the damage twice over, and compare them, and take the best one. I can even consider Sneak Attack die being part of an attack, because they are rolled at once.

But I don't believe Divine Smite is 'part of a weapon's attack' since you only determine if you are smiting after the attack occurs. Divine Smite says you can only use it when you hit with a melee weapon attack, and you deal radiant damage in addition to the weapon's damage. Clearly something in addition to the weapon's damage is NOT weapon damage.
