I've been compiling a list of House Rules and I wanted to get more eyes on this particular one.

* Lunge (New Feat)
    1) Before you make a melee attack with a light or finesse weapon that you are proficient with, you can choose to take a -5 penalty to the attack roll. If the attack hits, you add +10 to the attack’s damage.
    2) On your turn, when you score a critical hit with a finesse weapon, that creature has disadvantage on Attacks until the beginning of your next turn.

What are your thoughts? Finesse weapons have some inherent advantages to Strength weapons, but fall behind in straight up damage output.

As with all homebrew stuff, whatever works for your table is fine. It may prove to be overpowered with a dual wielder, but I'll leave the number crunching to people who like that sort of thing.

I'd also say that dex fighters hold their own as it stands, but if your group puts a big premium on dpr, then maybe you'd want that feat. I don't think it would break anything.

GWM, PAM, Shield Master... all boost melee damage quite a bit, all rely on Str.
