#1 Lharn Oct 22, 2014 8:02:42	Let's say I am an MC druid/warlock. During downtime, theoretically could I prepare all the druid rituals that I know then transcribe them into written form into my book? Then I could cast my druid rituals from the book without preparing them thus freeing up my prep slots for non-ritual spells. Is this correct? Or do the rituals always have to be in written form before you can copy them? The feat Ritual Caster explicitly states this, but not so for the invocation 'Book of Ancient Secrets'.
#2 Timborama Oct 22, 2014 10:16:10	A spell has to be "obtained" in a physical form to be written down in a spellbok or a tome. The only spells that are "written down" are non-cantrip wizard spells in their spellbook and (non-cantrip?) spells inside a warlock's Book of Shadows. Similarly, a sorcerer/wizard cannot write his sorcerer spells in his spell book.   But if you found the scrolls that had those spells, or even asked a librarian if you could borrow them for an hour, you could then copy them into your tome/spellbook.
