So its basicly an odd question but the Channel divinity: Distructive Wrath gives you the power to once every dag or until rest cast a lightning or thunder spell at maximum damage:

C h a n n e l D i v i n i t y : D e s t r u c t iv e W r a t h
Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity
to wield the power o f the storm with unchecked ferocity.
When you roll lightning or thunder damage, you can
use your Channel Divinity to deal maximum damage,
instead o f rolling.

But how about consentration destuctive spells like Call ligtning? The Destructive wrath gived you the ability to bypass the damage die for the spell when the spell is cast, but this spell is still in motion for up to 10minutes and started under the influation of the Destructive wrath. Wil it still be able to deal maximum damage under that period? No where in the rules does it say that it only works for 1 round, only that it can only be used once before you need a long or shotr rest. So is there anything that says itthat it wil not be working all the way on this spells time limit?

1 channel divinity use per roll, since ongoing spells like for example Witch Bolt are multiple rolls, one channel will only maximize one of them.

When you ROLL damage.

So only once for call lighting.
