I'm about to include a ghost and some wraiths in our 5e campaign yet can't find a definition for Incorporeal and/or ethereal in 5e. Do they have a mechanic anyone knows of; resistance to normal weapons, capability to travel through solid objects etc? I can't seem to find it in the beta rules, basic or anywhere else.

MAny thanks.

There's nothing specific.

Mostly, i think they plan on adding stuff like that to ghost themselves.

Ghost

Attributes:

Reistance: Normal Weapons

Haunt: Ghost cannot go further then 100' of it's haunting ground.

Insubstantial: Ghost can go though walls.

At least one monster in the Starter Set has "Incorporeal movement" along with a bunch of resistances etc. So I guess that incorporeal at least is not a defined property in itself but rather something that is included in individual stat blocks. So decide what it should be for each of your monsters and then just add it for each stat block.
