My question is, is it an automatic success or is it the ability to make an active wisdom (perception) roll at the end of someone else's turn? Eith er side makes sense but I was going to try and run something this weekend wit ha white dragon antagonist and wanted to get it right. Thanks all!

I think the idea here is that, even though the dragon's turn has passed, it can still locate those characters that try to hide in the meantime. Think something like Smaug getting all of those chances to find Bilbo during their conversation in The Hobbit. |
