Can you use the Lucky feat with Initiative? Technically Initiative is a Dexterity Ability Check so it qualifies in that respect, however you essentially know the outcome as soon as you've rolled it as you're immediately placed within an Initiative order.

There is nothing in the feat that disallows the adding of modifiers before making a determination.

 

You could not find out where you were in initiative order.... DM may want you to roll first...
