#1 PhyrexianKitsune Jan 05, 2015 16:29:40	Normally, when multiclassing, say, bard and sorcerer, as a bard 6/sorcerer 14 you would have the maximum spell level in sorc spells that a 14th level sorc would have and the same thing for your bard side. This would normally mean you have no 9th level spells. However, the "Magical Secrects" class feature the Lore College grants at level 6 is not standard spells known from your class but rather a class feature that adds bonus spells known from any list to your spells known, independent of those gained from your bard class. Thus, could you, by RAW, take your 6th level of bard at the level you would gain level 9 slots and use it to poach level 9 spells from any list? Or would you still be limited to, at max, level 3 spells like your normal bard spells known despite the fact your getting these spell from a class feature and not your normal spells known pool? Clarification on this would be most appreciated!
#2 mellored Jan 06, 2015 6:49:33	Nope.   A spell you choose must be of a level you can cast, as shown on the Bard table, or a cantrip. Those spells count as bard spells...   And according to both the "bard table", and the multiclass rules, a 6th level bard can know upto spell level 3.
#3 Ganymede425 Jan 06, 2015 10:00:01	"You determine what spells you know and can prepare for each class individually, as if you were a single-classed member of that class."   If a Bard 6/Sorcerer 14's number of known bard spells differs in any way whatsoever from a Bard 6's number of known spells, you did something wrong.
