So the Mislead spell sounds like a great way to explore a dark hole that I may not want to stick my head directly in, just in case there is a dragon. In fact, especially if I know there is a dragon in that hole.
My question is the spell says I can use my action to move my double up to twice my speed. Can my double fly? It is an illusion after all? It seems to have left this vague and I'd like to clear it up. I dont see any reason why my illusion can't fly, swim or even tunnel. But I wanted yoru thoughts. My character is going to be a tomb exploring bard, and I'm playing in a solo campaign so caution is my favorite word

You can move it "twice your speed"... you only have a walking speed, no flying speed; so I would rule it can't fly. I would let it climb and swim at the same rate your PC could.
Yeah, as I read the spell, it doesn't get any movement modes you don't have. Also, it has to look like you and not some other creature, nor be invisible. Those all say to me that it's not a general purpose illusion, but one anchored somehow to your actual being.
