| #1ViagramancerMay 18, 2015 12:06:55 | So I was just curious getting back into 5th ed I have been away a while. But I noticed that when Mithril weapons are described it is a metal that is a fine silver. I tend to run campaigns like Ravenloft where silver weapons are a very important aspect. I was wondering if Mithril should be treated as silver weapons or do to the fact the metal is a different metal should it have the same effect or not? Would appreicate any help with this question. |

Nothing else. As much as I love meeting new people to hang out with, I don't like just how many missed opportunities happen in public play. |

With some of the adventures being written before the official rules were finalized, some things like this were bound to fall through the cracks.
I have mixed feelings about it ... the concept of different metals for different weapons is kind of cool but then people writing monsters for the books seem to think they have to write monsters where you need a special weapon to damage a creature. It got to the point in 3.5 where you had to have a golf-bag full of different weapons ... it was annoying. |
