Rules question for the Monk pertaining to a combination of the Flurry of Blows feature and the Open Palm Technique presented in the Way of the Open Hand monastic tradition.

Flurry of Blows reads: Immediately after you take the Attack action on your turn, you can spend 1 ki point to make two unarmed strikes as a bonus action.

Open Palm Technique reads: Whenever you hit a creature with one of the attacks granted by your Flurry of Blows, you can impose one of the following effects on the target:

- It must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone.

- It must make a Strength saving throw.  If it fails, you can push the target up to 15 feet away from you

- It can't take reactions until the end of your next turn.

Now for the question (which is probably pretty obvious):

If I hit with both of my unarmed strikes that are granted to me through my use of Flurry of Blows, do I then get to choose two effects to impose on my target?

Yep!

As follow up, some interesting interactions:

1. If you push them back with the first attack, you won't get the second one unless they are within your reach...

2. ...UNLESS you break up your move to move between the attacks! PHB 190 - "If you take an action that includes more than one weapon attack, you can break up your movement even further by moving between those attacks." The bonus action ("an action") includes multiple attacks ("more than one weapon attack" - Unarmed Strike considered a Simple Weapon), so you can intersperse movement between those attacks.

Sidekick a guy 15 feet back, follow along with him, and then do it again.

Very cool battlefield control options here.

Thank you both for your answers.  I had a feeling that I would be allowed to impose two effects on the target, I just wanted to be sure.  I'm making up my first 5th Edition character right now (Lightfoot Halfling Monk), which is why I wanted to be clear before I went any further.

And thank you ktkenshinx for that insight!  That wasn't something I had thought of yet, though I'm sure after a few combats I would have noticed.  It's nice to have that bit of information for the start of the game rather than realizing it on my own further down the line, so thank you very much.

Kneecap a guy knocking him prone, then boot him (advantage attack) 15 feet away.

Smack a guy to the ground, then axe kick him in the head, move out of his reach while he's seein little birdies.

Double punch the two dudes that are up in your grill 15 feet away, strut wherever you dang well please.

Drop an elbow on someones head and now all your friends can dance around him like he's got the reflexes of a sloth. And knee him in the crotch, dropping him to his knees, just for good measure.

The possibilities are plain delightful.

There's room for debate here. "Whenever you hit with one  (1) of the attacks granted by your Flurry of Blows..."

If it were any attack, I think it would state something more akin to, "whenever you hit with an attack granted..." But as long as the DM agrees, play it how you like.
