#1 Batla76 Sep 21, 2014 19:20:47	The rules under Druid wild shape state that "you retain the benefits of any features from your class". Does this mean that a Multiclass Druid/Fighter(Battle Master) could use combat maneuvers while wild shaped? A good example would be Menacing Attack or Evasive Footwork. Would the Druid benefit from the Fighters extra attack in Wildshape?
#2 Ganymede425 Sep 21, 2014 20:08:29	The passage reads more fully, "you retain the benefit of any features from your class, race, or other source amd can use them if the new form is physiclly capable of doing so."   This phrasing seems all-inclusive and is permissive as opposed to restrictive. As for whether the specific examples you cite are permissible, that depends on whether the new form can actually do them, and whether there is another rule in the Wild Shape entry that specifically forbids it.
#3 2Chlorobutanal Sep 21, 2014 21:01:36	I would say that animals are capable of most, if not all Battle Master maneuvers.  The specifics of the attack are left rather vague.   It is possible to imagine a bear grabbing a sword in its mouth (Disarming Attack) or a lion scaring its victim as it claws the person (Menacing Attack).   Extra Attack is also possible, but note that Extra Attack modifies the Attack action, and many animals also have the Multiattack action, which cannot benefit from Extra Attack (it's not the "Attack action.")   For example, a Fighter/Druid who is Wild Shaped as a brown bear or a black bear can choose to do 1 of the following on his or her turn:   Use the Attack Action with Extra Attack and make two melee attacks.  This could be one "claws" and one "bite" or two of either. Use the Multiattack Action and make one "bite" attack and one "claws" attack, as described in the action.   The Druid could not use Extra Attack with Multiattack to make 3 attacks.
