| #12goth4USep 12, 2014 5:11:16 | When multiclassing, it doesn't say whether or not saving throw "proficiency" are acquired.
Nothing says they are so in that absence I suspect they aren't, but it doesn't seem unreasonable to get them so I'm wondering if it's an oversight.
Any definitive designer [O] interpretation here? |
| #2BumamgarSep 12, 2014 5:44:53 | It clearly states on page 164 that you gain only some of the new class's starting proficiencies and then has a table listing which proficiencies you gain. That table does not include any saving throw proficiencies, thus you gain none. |
| #3TimboramaSep 12, 2014 13:07:17 | They are not listed intentionally because you do not get them.
There is a feat you can take to get a new proficient Save, however! Also, a few class features alter or add saves. Albeit many of them are high level (for good reason) |
