#2 Noctaem Oct 17, 2014 3:55:14	Opportunity Attacks use your reaction action in 5e. So a creature can only take 1 reaction between each of its turns. Though movement can provoke multiple opportunity attacks because there are more than 1 creature around the movement which triggers the reactions. So if you have 3 goblins around you and you move out of their reach, you will get 1 opportunity attack from each of the 3 goblins. No, they do not, they count as reactions. Note that you can't take reactions during your own turn. So you can't make an opportunity attack during your own turn.

In the first round of combat, it's possible to take 2 reactions so long as you're not surprised. One before your turn, and one after. Going forward, you'd be able to do the same thing provided you didn't use your reaction after your turn on the previous round.
