| #1potenequusJul 30, 2015 0:23:01 | Hello everyone, have a question about Pact Magic and Spellcasting class. I have a lvl 1 druid/4 warlock. As a druid i have 2-1st lvl spell and warlock I have 2 spell slots (cast as 2nd levels).
Question I have is, when I use a druid spell slot to cast a warlock spell, what level would I cast it at? Also, in reverse, if I used a warlock spell slot to cast a druid spell, what level would it be?
Again, thanks in advance for the help. |

As far as casting..... you have simplly 4 spell slots, 2 1st and 2 2nd. Use them however you like.
The ones that are gained via Pact Magic, will refresh after a short rest. The ones that are gained via Spellcasting will refresh after a long rest.

If you look at the spell descriptions, you'll see that the improvements just depend upon using a higher level spell slot; use a higher slot, get higher benefits.
The pact magic and spellcasting class features may separately define how many spell slots you get and how you recharge them, but when it comes to the actual use of them for casting spells, the pact magic and spellcasting slots are completely interchangeable. So the 2nd-level spell slot you gained from pact magic works just like a 2nd-level spell slot gained from spellcasting, including being used to improve lower-level spells. |
