In playtest a pearl of power allowed you (after taking an action) to regain a 1st through 3rd level previously cast spell slot.  I like this but wonder how it applies to Warlocks.  i am running my players through Scourge of the Sword Coast and near the end the players find one.  My 5th level Warlock has taken to it and we are certain it works for him so long as he is casting from third level or lower spell slots (which his two current slots are at) but as soon as he has 4th level spell slots does he lose the ability to use the pearl?   Say he's 7th level he has 2 spells slots that allow him to cast at 4th or lower.  If he casts his 4th level spells can he use the pearl to get back a (the pearls max) 3rd level slot? Or does it do nothing for him?   Any help appreciated (and yes i realize that we don't have the official write up yet).
