Any ruling on Polearm master?

Specifically how it interacts with quarterstaff: "you can make an attack with opposite end of weapon".

As per RAW:
You could shield + quarterstaff because quarterstaff is versatile. Thus getting two attacks with 1 hand using quarterstaff while using a shield...

RAW it seems to work. But is it RAI?

Well 1d6 vs 1d10, I would allow it, I might also apply the spear to the feat since I think they should count as reach weapons as well.  I wish I had a better answer for you.

It gets more interesting when you apply the Shillelagh spell to the quarterstaff as a level one human druid.

I guess I'd rule that "only a quarterstaff etc." Means no shield. The logic of a pole-arm is that it's two handed, and you don't get to use a shield. Using a quarterstaff one handed would be the exception rather than the rule.
