Polymorphist's Jest Vs. Grand Abolisher

I'm an old school player. Been throwin' these cards on the table against my pals since Alpha and we have a hard time adapting to the stacking system and often still fall back into the speed of ablities and spells innately because, well, it's just how we've always played.

However, new cards often force us to resort to the new system and rulings when an effect greatly benefits one player. Thus, the question: Grand Abolisher prevents an opponent from casting any spells during my turn. Is there a phase or a place in the stack time, where an opponent can cast something like Polymorphist's Jest that will negate the effects of Grand Abolisher during my turn?

I'm afraid that URL takes me to exactly where I started this thread from. I do apologize for my error, but perhaps you could direct me a little more in an "alright, dude, i'll hold your eff'ing hand" sort of fashion so I don't repeat my mistake. (Which I may have already done).

Odd -- copy and pasting the URL from my first post into my web browser takes me right to the Magic Rules Q&A forum. If it doesn't do that for you, I'm not sure how else to help.

Just look at the header at the top of the page for the highlighted section - you have MTG, D&D, More Games, Account......

make sure MTG is highlighted in RED....
