#1 xirr2000 Nov 03, 2014 20:42:24	Is there a skill or feat that allows a sorceror to add the proficiency bonus to concentration checks?  I know the War Casterr feat gives advantage, but I didn't see anything that allowed a proficiency bonus to be used.

#3 Kalani Nov 03, 2014 21:04:42	Concentration is not a skill. You either have concentration or you don't. If you take damage, your concentration might be broken, in which case you make a constitution saving throw to maintain concentration.    What you are looking for is proficiency in Constitution saving throws - which can be gained by class (eg. Fighter, Sorcerer), by taking the Resilient (constitution) feat, or by gaining 14 levels in Monk (diamond soul). Please note, you only gain saving throw proficiencies at first level. Multiclassing will not grant you new saving throw proficiencies so if your first class does not grant proficiency in Constitution saves, you will need to take the feat, or 14 levels of Monk.   Concentration (phb p203) Taking damage. Whenever you take damage while you are concentrating on a spell, you must make a Constitution saving throw to maintain your concentration. The DC equals 10 or half the damage you take, whichever number is higher. If you take damage from multiple sources, such as an arrow and a dragon’s breath, you make a separate saving throw for each source o f damage.
