My DM and I have been arguing back and forth about whether bonus action unarmed strikes by monks (either just the one, or two if you flurry of blows) should include the +dex bonus to damage.
He insists they're counted as the second weapon in two weapon fighting, I suggest it's a completely different rule specific to monks and that it should be included.
I was considering tweeting the lead designer and seeing what he says since I couldn't find a definitive answer by him so far. I would appreciate input on whether I should or not as I'm sure he's absolutely slammed with tweets and questions every day

Your both wrong. He's wrong: Two Weapon Fighting is limited to just that. Is TWF granting your bonus action? No? Then it's of no relevence.
Which brings up how you're wrong: It's not specific to monks, it's generic to making a weapon attack. TWF specifically denies the stat bonus, but see above.
So I would add my dex bonus to both attack and damage?
To any attack that doesn't specify otherwise. I say that because I forsee the same thing occuring with Polearm Master and Crossbow Expert.
Cool, I just need one of those designer folks to give me the final word as most people already agree with you (besides my DM).
