#1 Fizzlewick Sep 30, 2014 10:29:09	I've seen lots of speculation about the limitations of the image aspect of minor illusion, but I have some questions about the sound aspect.   The spells lists someone else's voice as an appropriate sound to create.  In order to duplicate someone else's voice, would the caster have to have ever heard their voice before?  What if the caster has heard the other person's voice but only once and/or long ago?  Could the caster create the illusion of someone else's voice in a language the caster did not know?  Is it possible for the caster to duplicate someone's voice but very poorly?  Is there any passive counter a monster could have to illusory sounds (a truesight for sounds)?   In particular I'm wondering what limitations the spell has with duplicating the sound of someone else's voice to give orders to enemy creatures.  If the enemy understands the order and it sounds like the voice of a superior, what are the appropriate kinds of responses the enemy can make?  Obviously, it can spend an action to try to disbelieve the sound.  But it would be a pretty powerful cantrip indeed if it could cause a group of minions to waist an action trying to disbelieve that a superior had told them to retreat or surrender.  Should a persuasion check be made to see if the creatures follow the command?  If so, what scores should be used for this check?
