| #3PsikerlordAug 10, 2014 21:36:24 | It's actually very average, as if you cast one normal spell, the other spell is cantrip only. You can get a better and longer effect from haste. The true double spell focus fire ability is action surge, but it costs you 2 levels of fighter to get it.... you can twin spell with sorcerer, but it has to be separate targets (and only 2 targets). Sorcerer's best metamagic is probably the one that gives disad on saves (with save or die style spells), and/or that secret casting one, where they dont need verbal/somatic components, I reckon. In any case, they are not much value vs other casters imo.
Actually can anyone say what is the cost to convert spell points to slots, and vice versa? Perhaps that's where the strength of sorcerers lie? |
| #4RinforAug 11, 2014 4:14:01 | Ty for the answers. I didn't read the rule to cast spells as bonus action, so i thought that a lvl 5 sorc could cast 2 fireballs in the same turn O_O. Now that i have read it, i think that it is a good feature, but no op. |
