#1 maplealmond Sep 12, 2014 0:24:56	True Strike says "On your next turn you gain advantage on your first attack roll against the target, provided that this spell hasn't ended." Now I can read this two ways. The first is that when your next turn starts, you gain advantage, as long as the spell hasn't ended at the start of the turn. Alternately I could read it as you get advantage, only so long as the spell hasn't ended when you make the attack roll. Now imagine a caster casts True Strike, and on his next turn casts Blinding Smite as a bonus action then immediately attacks.  Being a concentration action, casting Blinding Smite ends True Strike.  Does he get advantage with the attack? How about Mordenkanen's Sword?  This is a concentration spell, which gets an attack roll immediately upon casting.  Can it benefit from True Strike?
#2 2Chlorobutanal Sep 12, 2014 1:23:54	It's a little ambiguous but my working assumption was always that the spell must be active during the attack, thus no benefit to other concentration spells.   To me "on your next turn" is more about state than trigger, meaning essentially "during."  If it said "At the beginning of...", I may be inclined to think about it differently.
