| #1cj95Sep 13, 2015 21:13:05 | Just hit level 3 with my Paladin and have a question on Sacred Weapon
I have STR and CHA both at 16.
Does the CHa bonus stack with the STR bonus for the to hit roll?
Meaning do I add +3 +3 and +2 (Proficiency bonus) to my roll for a total of +8 to hit?
Seems op unless I am missing something.
Thanks. |

(By the way, the general case answer is: look at the wording. If it says "adds" then it adds together, and if it says "uses" or "is", it replaces. Examples of the former are Sacred Weapon and the warlock's lifedrinker. Examples of the latter include Shillelagh and Mage Armor.) |
