Size Small and Longbow

Hey everybody,

Sorry if this is duplicate or no brainer. I searched the forum but came up dry. I don't have access to my books and there are no PDFs available yet so I figure asking here would be the fastest.

 

Is there any rules language in the 5E PHB about size small PCs, (Halfling and Gnomes) using Longbow?  Anything specific? Or is it left up to the DM/table? Thanks in advance!

Longbows have the Heavy property, which means that small creatures can't use it.
