| #1Lucas_BlackstoneDec 26, 2014 0:08:28 | Does anyone know if the devs have said anything about their intent for the ability to sneak attack in a situation where advantage and disadvantage were both generated? I know the way I believe the rules work, and I am aware there may be other readings of the rules. I just couldn't find the collection of tweets to look through them myself. I am usually willing to go with the listed intent from the devs because a wording error or a misreading is less interesting then for me then playing by the way they meant the rules to work.
In the end it's always up to each DM at any given table, but I was curious as to intent of the situation. |

| #4NovacatDec 26, 2014 8:58:45 | As Macv12 pointed out, if circumstances would grant both advantage and disadvantage, you have neither. So the rogue would still get sneak attack if the target is adjacent to one of the rogue's allies. |
