Is it enough that the attack be made with a weapon with the finesse property, or is it necessary that the attack actually use the dexterity bonus in lieu of the strength bonus? |

(Now would be a good time to chime in that Sneak Attack really should've allowed light weapons as well, even if they're not finesse. That'd bring the club, light hammer and handaxe into it, the former of which is a thematic weapon for a thug-style Rogue.) |
