Hi I hope someone can clear my doubts.

I know the right answer to all of these is to ask my dm, but in my case it won't work so maybe someone can help me anyway.

1)what prevent me to summon 8 giant owl and provide fly speed for the whole party?

2)summon monster follow the order i give them. will they follow suicidal orders too?

3)if I transform in a wolf can i give orders to summoned wolf. If i make a nature check? if i spend my downtime learning wolfish?

1) is a giant owl large? if not: Can't be mounted,,, If yes: Only domesticated animals can be mounted...

2) The animals are sentient, they have a mind of there own. So no, they won't jump off a cliff or into fire. But then again, they aren't smart enough NOT to jump onto a trap. If it is a good/neutral thing to do is a whole different question...

3) 100% up to the DM.

Who said you get to determine what animals are summoned?

Exotic mounts require exotic saddles to ride, which wouldnt be summoned by the spell.

You could have the owls carry the PCs though...but that could be awfully precarious.

Sorry i forgot i had posted these questions :D. I reread the spell several time and cleared my ideas a littele bit. I'll give you more random toughts tho.

Conjure animal:

You summon fey spirits that take the form of beasts and
appear in unoccupied spaces that you can see within
range.

The summoned creatures are friendly to you and your
companions. They obey any
verbal commands
that you issue to them (no action
required by you).

So they are actually spirits and not animals and there is no limitation about suicidal orders (moreover they disappear when reach 0 hp and won't "die")

giant owls are large, so they may grab pc and bring them around. I assume the ones that let their "prey" fall, are already starved to death. gray point tho.

in the spell there is anything about common language or any language at all you need to use, so it may be possible that they understand whatever you are saying in any form or condition(underwater). this is another gray point

The complexity of commands is up to interpretation.

once i summon them can i say them: follow me and attack anything i attack?

nothing says one word command but i can see some dm nerfing the spell that way.

I'd point out that grabbing someone and carrying them away works best if they are at least two sizes smaller than you. Otherwise, your speed is halved (PH 195). So you'd need to summon Huge creatures to easily carry a party of Medium characters, and I couldn't find any that would be available for that spell offhand.
