#1 Undrhil Dec 20, 2014 13:21:58	OK, Subtle Spell sounds awesome for a Sorcerer who wants to be stealthy.  He can spend 1 SP when casting a spell with V or S components to ignore those components.  However, it doesn't allow you to ignore M components.  So, my quetions is for DMs: would you consider the movement of a caster accessing material components enough to negate stealth?  Would you allow the sorcerer to double casting time length in order to access material components without negating stealth?   I think most people use Subtle spell when their sorcerer is under a Silence spell, or when they are grappled, but even being grappled means you can't access your material components or your arcane focus, unless you had your focus in hand already.  Or would you not cause grapple to impede casting in that way?
#2 mellored Dec 20, 2014 13:35:10	drawing a component would not break stealth anymore then drawing a dagger would. grapple only prevents movement, not drawing stuff. i would not allow drawing stuff with manicals.
#3 cowleymen Dec 20, 2014 19:33:47	+1 to mellored. Though if your hands are tied in front of you, and your pouch is on the front side of your belt/outfit....     How ever there are plenty of spells that dont have M components that could get you out of that situation with subtle spell as well
