Converting a Spell Slot to Sorcery Points. As a bonus action on your turn, you can expend one spell slot and gain a number of sorcery points equal to the slot's level.

Now since it doesnt say expend one "sorcerer" spell does that mean a MC PC could expend spells from another class and gain the Sorcery Points?

That is how I read it... Until the RAW is changed, that seems good to go.

You don't have separate sets of spell slots when multiclassing with spellcasting classes (other than the warlock). Read the section on multiclassing: you have one pool of spell slots that is used for all of your spellcasting classes. So it's literally impossible for you to specifically use a sorcerer spell slot with Sorcery Points, because you don't have any "sorcerer spell slots", you just have "spell slots". The only exception is the warlock: a warlock keeps track of their Pact Magic spell slots separately. They can still use them to cast spells from other classes (and use spell slots from other classes to cast their warlock spells known), but they can't use Pact Magic spell slots to fuel other features, like the paladin's Divine Smite or the sorcerer's Sorcery Points.

I have read the multi class section on spell casting and Pact Magic and still dont fully understand it. So do MC PC have two seperate spell slots example. Wizard 3 / Sorcerer 3 would have one set of spell slots for Wizards anf one set for Sorcerer?

No. Pact Magic is a completely seperate feature for Warlocks, everything else shares spell slots.

You will have separate lists of spells known and spells prepared for each class, but the number of spell you can cast each day are shared among all Spellcasting classes you have.

So a Wizard 3/Sorcerer 3 will have as many spells per day as a 6th level caster, but you will only know spells as a 3rd level sorcerer and only be able to prepare as many spells as a 3rd level wizard. So you'll only know 1st and 2nd level spells, but you can cast them in 3rd level slots.
