How does this interact with AoE spells (shatter for example)? Do you just do maximum damage to everything in the area (assuming they all fail their save)? This seems a bit overpowerd to me. Or is it just for one target?
For a more general question: do the rules specify if you roll the damage once for an AoE spell and apply it to all targets or do you roll for each target? I checked to Combat and magic sections of the PHB and I cant find it mentioned anywhere. |
| #2JohnnyBlaiseAug 13, 2014 7:43:37 | Doesnt tempest say, "attack" for that feature (ie not an AoE, only things with an Attack Roll?) I was thinking about this for combining with the Paladin Elemental Weapon feature, but its only for one attack, and it uses your Channel Divinity. Not great. |
