#1 Lipfi Sep 18, 2014 8:13:13	What do you think is it possible to twin Conjure Elemental (CE) spell with sorcerer metamagic? Reason why I concider this is that it seams to me CE targets one creature, from other plane and teleports it on your plane under your control.    Edit: What about Mordenkainen's Sword? (It does target one creature)
#2 Whir Sep 18, 2014 10:01:06	I would say no. Both spells require concentration and you can only concentrate on one spell at a time.

Not paying attention I suppose.     However, no spell has a target line. It's stated in the description whether or not the spell affects a single or multiple targets (to explain so as not to confuse Lipfi).
#5 2Chlorobutanal Sep 18, 2014 16:46:40	I believe that conjure elemental doesn't "target" an elemental, so I wouldn't allow it to be Twinned.   Mordenkainen's Sword could be construed to either:   1.  Conjure a sword as the spell's "effect."   You can then use the sword to "target" people, not the spell, so no Twin Spell.   2.  Conjure a sword and target something when you initially cast the spell.  Therefore, you could Twin the spell.  However, after the initial (two) attacks, you could only ever command one sword per round, so it'd be fairly pointless to have two of them.   So in both cases, Twin Spell is probably not what you want to do with M. Sword.
