Typos in the Player Companion?

Here a quote from the Free Player Companion PDF:

Erupting Earth
3rd-level transmutation
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 120 feet
Components: V, S, M (a piece of obsidian)
Duration: Instantaneous
[...]deal 3d12 bludgeoning damage[...]
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d12 for each slot level above 2nd.

Yeah, I think its obviously a typo, and I think you are almost certainly right that it is supposed to be a 3rd level spell, not a second level spell, and so it should do slotd12 damage

Probably not a typo, but a bit confusing on Spiritual Weapon:

 

 

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for every two slot levels above the 2nd.
