#1 daedel Sep 26, 2014 8:31:10	In page 194 is stated that when you attack a creature that you cannot see, you have disadvantage on the attack roll. There are several spells (like fire bolt) that doesn't specifically say that you attack a creature you can see, but others like chromatic orb or disintegrate add this little caveat. Am i correct to understand that you cannot cast those spells if you cannot see your target, but you can do in the case of, for example, fire bolt? Assuming that you'll have disadvantage on the roll (and that if you guess correctly the position of the target)
#2 mellored Sep 26, 2014 8:33:56	You are correct.   Note that spells that have a DC save, are not attacks, and thus, do not have disvatange.
