#1 Undrhil Aug 19, 2014 21:57:16	I am looking in the PHB and the net is listed under 'ranged martial weapons'.  However, it has the thrown property, which states that you can make a ranged attack with the weapon.  So, does this mean I can use the net to make melee attacks?   It doesn't normally do damage, but it restrains someone who is hit by it (and I assume the person using the net will no longer be holding the net once it is restraining a bad guy.)   Also, based on the fact that the net is (5/15) for its range, any ranged attack made with a net will be at disadvantage, since the first value means the target is within melee range with you.  Correct?
