In this case, does the attack roll take place of the normal roll to grapple the character? Or does the vampire use the normal grapple rules if it wants to grapple the character?
Should a swarm be considered a single creature? The specific instance here is a ranger with the hunter archetype. The Colossus Slayer archetype says it does an extra 1d8 of damage if the creature is below its maximum hit points. Should this apply to a swarm? What about a warlock's hex spell, or other spells that target 'a creature'? |
